Instructions

How to Make Spicy Cajun Beef Sausage Pasta

  • Begin by heating the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced beef smoked sausage to the skillet and sauté until it develops a golden color.
  • Toss in the diced bell peppers and onion into the same skillet, sauté for 5-8 minutes.
  • Sprinkle in the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and optional cayenne pepper.
  • Gradually pour in the low-sodium chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  • While the sauce simmers, cook your pasta according to package directions until al dente.
  • Add the drained pasta and browned sausage back into the skillet. Stir in the optional fresh spinach and Parmesan cheese.
  • Garnish your spicy Cajun beef sausage pasta with fresh chopped parsley. Serve hot.
