Instructions

How to Make Southern Maple Sweet Potato Casserole

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the sweet potatoes by peeling and chopping them into chunks. Boil if using fresh.
  • Mash the cooked sweet potatoes in a bowl and mix in remaining filling ingredients until fluffy.
  • Combine the pecan topping ingredients in a bowl, stirring in melted butter until crumbly.
  • Spread the sweet potato mixture in a greased baking dish and sprinkle pecan topping on top.
