For the Special Sauce

  • 1 cup Special Burger Sauce A blend of mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, and garlic powder.

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) for a lovely crispy crust and place the heavy-duty sheet pan inside for at least 20-30 minutes.
  • Form your ground beef into loose, 2-ounce balls. Slice your slider buns in half and gather cheese, onions, pickles, and special sauce.
  • Drizzle a tablespoon or two of neutral oil in the hot sheet pan, spreading it quickly.
  • Place the beef balls onto the oiled surface and smash each ball into a thin patty.
  • Season the tops of the patties with salt and black pepper. Return to the oven for 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, flip patties, add onions if desired, and place a slice of American cheese on each patty.
  • Toast the slider buns on the sheet pan until light golden.
  • Return to the oven for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and buns are toasted.
  • Assemble by transferring patties to the bottom half of the buns, layering with pickles, onions, and special sauce before topping with the buns.

Notes
