  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions

How to Make Pumpkin Madeleines

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a madeleine pan.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, melted butter, eggs, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Spoon the batter into each madeleine cavity, filling them about three-quarters full.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Optional: Dust with powdered sugar for an extra touch of sweetness.
