Ingredients

Marinade Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 3 cloves Minced fresh garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes optional

Instructions

How to Make Marinade

  • Pat chicken pieces dry with paper towels.
  • In a medium bowl, combine lemon juice, olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, honey, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes.
  • Whisk together until well combined.
  • Place chicken pieces in a resealable bag and pour marinade over.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 12 hours.
  • For grilling, preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through.
  • For baking, preheat oven to 400°F and bake chicken for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.

Notes

This marinade can be prepared in advance and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
