Marinade Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Olive oil
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 3 cloves Minced fresh garlic
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes optional
How to Make Marinade
Pat chicken pieces dry with paper towels.
In a medium bowl, combine lemon juice, olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, honey, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes.
Whisk together until well combined.
Place chicken pieces in a resealable bag and pour marinade over.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 12 hours.
For grilling, preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through.
For baking, preheat oven to 400°F and bake chicken for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
This marinade can be prepared in advance and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
