Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 2 pounds Boneless, skinless chicken breasts ideal for juicy sliders
  • 1/4 cup Honey natural sweetness
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard for the kick
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to enhance flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper adds heat
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder for savory taste
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder adds sweetness

For the Sliders

  • 8 pieces Slider buns fresh and soft
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise for creaminess
  • 4 slices Cheddar or Swiss cheese for melty goodness

Optional Additions

  • 1 tablespoon Thyme or rosemary fresh herbs to elevate flavor

Instructions

Directions

  • Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  • Combine honey, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl. Toss in the chicken pieces until well coated and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  • Toast the slider buns lightly on the grill or in the oven until warm and slightly crispy.
  • Spread a layer of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Add a scoop of the cooked chicken, and top with cheese if desired.
  • Arrange the sliders on a platter and serve immediately.

Notes

Marinating the chicken for 30 minutes enhances the flavor. Lightly toast the slider buns for the best texture.
