For Seasoning

  • 1 tsp salt Adjust according to your taste preference.
  • 1/2 tsp pepper Freshly cracked black pepper enhances the aroma.

Instructions

Cooking Steps

  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add your bowtie pasta and cook it according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Save a cup of pasta water before draining.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart and draining excess fat.
  • Once the beef is browned, add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the drained bowtie pasta to the skillet with the beef and garlic. Toss everything together until well combined.
  • Pour in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and stir gently. If the pasta seems dry, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
  • Sprinkle in the salt, pepper, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Toss to combine and let cook for another minute.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley on top. Serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, consider a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving.
