Cooking Steps
In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add your bowtie pasta and cook it according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Save a cup of pasta water before draining.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart and draining excess fat.
Once the beef is browned, add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the drained bowtie pasta to the skillet with the beef and garlic. Toss everything together until well combined.
Pour in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and stir gently. If the pasta seems dry, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
Sprinkle in the salt, pepper, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Toss to combine and let cook for another minute.
Remove from heat and sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley on top. Serve warm.
For added flavor, consider a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving.
