Ingredients

For the Mocktail

  • 3 ounces Cranberry juice provides a festive sweetness and vibrant color

  • 4-5 pieces Whole cloves enhances the spiced essence
  • 1 piece Fresh ginger adds warmth
  • 2 ounces Non-alcoholic tequila alternative optional

For Garnishing

  • granulated sugar for rimming the glass creates a sweet contrast

Instructions

How to Make

  • Moisten the rim of your glass with a lime wedge, combine sugar and cinnamon, and dip the rim into the mixture.
  • In a small saucepan, mix water, sweetener, cinnamon stick, star anise, and whole cloves. Simmer for about 5 minutes and steep for 15-20 minutes before straining.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, orange juice, and cooled spiced syrup. Optionally, include non-alcoholic tequila alternative.
  • Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the outside feels frosty cold.
  • Strain the mixture into the prepared glass, being careful not to disturb the rim.
  • Garnish with fresh cranberries, rosemary, and a cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use freshly squeezed lime juice for best flavor. Avoid over-sweetening and adjust syrup to taste.
