Salad Ingredients

  • 3 medium Granny Smith apples
  • 4 bars Regular-sized Snickers bars
  • 8 ounces Thawed frozen whipped topping
  • 1 box Instant vanilla or cheesecake flavored pudding mix
  • 1 cup Cold milk

  • 1 cup Mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup Crushed pretzel pieces for salty contrast
  • 8 ounces Softened cream cheese for richness

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Core and chop the apples into bite-sized pieces. Toss them in a bowl with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • Unwrap and chop all the Snickers bars into approximately 1/2-inch pieces.
  • Whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk in a large bowl until thickened (about 1-2 minutes).
  • Fold in the thawed whipped topping into the pudding mixture until smooth.
  • Gently mix the chopped apples and Snickers into the creamy dressing; add optional mix-ins if desired.
  • Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least 1-2 hours.
  • Transfer the salad into a serving bowl and drizzle with caramel sauce just before serving.

Notes

Chop apples uniformly and strain lemon juice to avoid a watery salad. Refrigerate for best flavor meld.
