Ingredients

For the Dough

  • 1 package crescent roll dough

For the Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp fresh orange zest optional

For the Cranberries

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

For the Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk or orange juice for consistency

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix together softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and optional orange zest in a medium bowl until smooth.
  • Unroll the crescent dough onto a clean surface and separate it into eight triangles.
  • Spread about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture over the wider end of each triangle.
  • Sprinkle approximately a teaspoon of cranberries over the cream cheese filling on each triangle.
  • Roll each triangle starting from the wide end towards the narrow tip.
  • Place the rolled crescent bites on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and puffed.
  • Whisk together powdered sugar with milk or orange juice in a small bowl until smooth for the glaze.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the bites after they cool for a few minutes.

Notes

Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened for easier mixing and avoid overfilling to prevent spillage.
