Ingredients

For the Dough

  • 2 cans Crescent roll dough 8 oz each

For the Cream Cheese Filling

  • 16 oz Cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon

For the Topping

  • 1/2 cup Melted butter brushed on top
  • to taste Additional cinnamon and sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

How to Make Christmas Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing it lightly.
  • Mix together softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon in a mixing bowl; beat until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Unroll one tube of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of your greased dish.
  • Spread half of the creamy filling over the layer of dough.
  • Roll out the second tube of crescent roll dough on top of the filling; spread the remaining cream cheese mixture evenly.
  • Cover the top layer with leftover dough from the second tube; brush it with melted butter and sprinkle with additional cinnamon and sugar.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown; let cool slightly before cutting into squares.

Notes

Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream on top for extra indulgence.
