Instructions

Making the Balls

  • In a food processor, blend the pitted Medjool dates until smooth and creamy, resembling a thick paste.
  • Add the dairy-free dark chocolate chips, chopped almonds or walnuts, and cocoa powder to the date mixture. Pulse until well combined but still slightly chunky.
  • Using clean hands, scoop out the mixture and roll it into 1-inch balls.
  • Roll each ball in unsweetened coconut flakes until evenly coated.
  • Place the coated balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.

Notes

Optional: Garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder for an extra festive touch. Ensure Medjool dates are fresh for easier blending. Chill for at least one hour before serving.
