Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking dish with nonstick spray.
  • Sauté chopped onion and celery in a skillet over medium heat with half of the melted butter until soft, about 5 minutes.
  • Combine stale bread cubes, sautéed veggies, fresh cranberries, and diced apples in a large bowl. Sprinkle in the dried sage, thyme, and rosemary. Pour in the vegetable broth and the rest of the melted butter, stirring until everything is well mixed.
  • Transfer the stuffing mixture into the prepared baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Uncover the dish and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the top turns golden brown and crispy.
  • Rest the stuffing for 5 minutes before serving.
