  • 4 oz balsamic glaze drizzle for a sweet and tangy finishing touch

Instructions

How to Make Christmas Caprese Wreath

  • Wash the tomatoes in cool water, gently rubbing them to remove any residue. Once clean, place the vibrant cherry tomatoes into a large mixing bowl.
  • Combine the mozzarella balls with the tomatoes in the bowl. Drizzle in the olive oil, then sprinkle the Italian seasoning, sea salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together until well-coated.
  • Chiffonade the fresh basil leaves by stacking them, rolling them tightly, and slicing them into thin ribbons.
  • Assemble the skewers by threading one cherry tomato followed by a mozzarella ball. Repeat this process until each skewer holds two of each.
  • Arrange a small bowl in the center of your serving board, then place the assembled skewers around the bowl in a circular, wreath-like design.
  • Garnish the skewers with the sliced basil leaves and whole basil leaves around the edges.
  • Serve by pouring balsamic glaze into the small bowl at the center.

Notes

For best flavor, use room temperature tomatoes and drain mozzarella well before combining. Allow skewers to marinate for about 10 minutes before serving.
