Crust
- 1 cup Graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter melted
Filling
- 16 oz Cream cheese at room temperature
- 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 large Large eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
Strawberry Layer
- 1 cup Fresh strawberries pureed
Matcha Layer
- 2 tablespoons Matcha powder
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press firmly into pan.
Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla extract.
Puree strawberries in a blender until smooth and fold half into the cream cheese mixture.
Dissolve matcha powder in hot water and mix with half of the cream cheese mixture.
Layer strawberry and matcha mixtures over the crust, swirling for visual effect. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
Cool completely in the pan, slice into bars, and serve chilled.
