For the Casserole
- 2 cans (15-ounce) Green beans drained
- 1 can (10.5-ounce) Condensed cream of mushroom soup creamy base for flavor
- ½ cup Milk to enhance creaminess
- 1 teaspoon Soy sauce adds umami depth
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper simple seasoning
- 1 ⅓ cups French fried onions divided for topping

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 2-quart baking dish.
Drain the green beans thoroughly, pressing out excess water.
Whisk together the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl.
Fold in the drained green beans and ⅔ of the French fried onions into the soup mixture gently.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
Sprinkle the remaining ⅓ cup of French fried onions evenly over the surface.
Return the casserole to the oven and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes.
Let stand for 5 minutes after removing from the oven before serving.
