Instructions

How to Make Butternut Squash Apple Bake

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cube the butternut squash into bite-sized pieces.
  • Slice the apples into wedges or cubes, with skins on.
  • Mix butternut squash and apple pieces with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt.
  • Grease the baking dish and pour in the mixture, spreading evenly.
  • Toss the nuts with melted butter and brown sugar, then sprinkle over the top.
  • Cover with foil and bake for about 25 minutes. Then remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  • Cool for a few minutes before serving.
